Who we are
404MEDIA is an owner-run agency based in the Berlin-Brandenburg region of Germany. Founded and led by Stefan Pingel. For many years we have developed websites, online shops and software for companies in Brandenburg, Berlin and across Germany. Today our core business is artificial intelligence and SaaS and software development. Added to that are search engine optimisation and e-commerce, so the result gets found and sells. With CATAMA we have been running our own cloud software for years, and with Code404Zero our own tech magazine on AI, web development and crypto.
Why the new focus
We have discontinued web design and print. Not because we could not do it, but because the value for our clients is greater elsewhere: where technology, data and visibility come together. A shop that gets found and whose data maintenance runs automatically brings more than a new logo.
How we work

What working with us looks like
A project starts with a free initial call of about 30 minutes. You describe your goal and starting point, we ask questions and tell you honestly whether and how we can help. If it fits, you receive an offer with a fixed scope and a fixed price for the first stage. We then work in stages of two to three weeks, each with a visible result that you approve. Afterwards we either support the result on an ongoing basis or hand it over to your team with documentation and training.
Our ambition
We want to be among the best agencies in Germany for AI implementation, software development, SEO and e-commerce. Not through size, but through depth: through work that has a measurable effect and that our clients recommend.
Region and international clients
We work on site in Berlin, Potsdam and Brandenburg, and remotely for clients across Germany and Europe. Most projects run remotely, and distance plays no role for us. Project communication, documentation and training in English are no problem. Data processing stays in Germany or the EU where required.
